HEBEL AAC Projects

Thousands of projects have been completed with AAC over the past 70 years in a range of building applications; walls, floors, roofs, shaft walls, sound walls, privacy fences, and mining applications, to name a few.

The superior fire rating, thermal efficiency and acoustic insulation of AAC make it an excellent product for building schools, hotels, dormitories, commercial structures, industrial facilities and homes.

Allen University in Columbia, SC


Location: Allen University in Columbia, SC

Installer: Ogden Brothers

There are two dormitory buildings: West is approximately 64,000 square feet (total heated) and 4 stories in height; East is approximately 54,000 square feet (total heated) and 4 stories in height

Hebel AAC is being used for floor panels, roof panels and all wall panels with the exception of the two stair wells and one elevator shaft that also act as shear walls and they are CMU Block.

EnergyKey Demonstation Home at The Waters


Location: 2008 Energy Key Demonstration Home in Montgomery, AL
General Contractor: Parker Brothers Construction

The 2008 EnergyKey Demonstartion Home will be the states first LEED-certified private residence. Located just outside Montgomery in a growing Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) called The Waters, the hom is a collaborative effort between the developer, the builder Parker Brothers Construction and the Home Builders Association of Alabama.
